  3. Hi everyone I was hoping to run this by the administrators first to check it would be ok to post this information, but I cant work out how to contact them. Technology! Not my strong point at all! I work at Beechwood College in South Wales. We are a specialist Further Education college for people aged 16+ who have an ASD. We are organising a Parents Transition Workshop in Reading for parents who have a son or daughter who is approaching transition themselves. The workshop will include guest-speakers who will talk about the range of options for people aged 16+, young peoples' rights, how to tackle funding applications, and how to manage a smooth transition into further education or into work. We will also have parents speaking about their own experiences of transition with their sons or daughters. Finally, in the afternoon, there will be optional 1:1 sessions, for parents who might have any specific questions to ask our team. We will have college staff there from our education, residential and clinical teams and you will be able to speak to one or all of our specialists. The event is due to take place on 9th June in Reading. We are still finalising a few details and more will be available shortly. I just wondered if anyone would - at this stage - be interested in receiving more information on this event. For more information on Beechwood College - have a look at www.beechwoodcollege.co.uk. You can also contact me directly on colin.howarth@lshealthcare.co.uk. Thanks a lot Colin Howarth
