Thanks for the reply guise. Went for my appointment and that on wednesday.
It was quite a good process really. The day started with a brief wait (cause someone had knocked the phoneline so they didn't know i was here.)
After that i was seen by a team of specialists. I had brought my family with me so they split me away from my family to ask us some questions.
The questions took about two and a bit hours, and was very well structured. They covered traits of Asperger's Syndrome, and they also covered Depression, Anxiety, OCD and ADHD on top of that. They also looked for Agoraphobia as well.
After that, we had a break. Then we got to see the team leader briefly while she asked us a few more questions and allowed us to speak freely. Then we had a short break. After that was a blood test, and then we went back in to hear the diagnosis.
I did get diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, as well as depression, Agoraphobia, and Anxiety. Then they ran me through the best course of treatment for me, which is gonna be Cognitive behavoural therapy. We decided that i should do it locally, 'cause of the shorter waiting lists. I also opted in for Neuropshychological tests.
So yeah, wasn't as scary as i thought it'd be, and for anyone else thats going, theres no need to fear!
