    Is feeling :( After having to wait for well over a year to be referred to see a Psychiatrist, then another 8 months to be referred by him to see a clinical Psychologist, I was told today that I am on a waiting list to be seen and this could take between 6-8 months if I'm lucky. Not impressed as my GP insisted that I'd only have to wait 3 months for the whole process of diagnosis to be done and over. I don't know if I have it in me to wait that long!!! I've been pul...

      Keep positive, it can be painfully slow I know, but don't lose hope - you are closer each day.

    I'm a bit disheartened that the Aspies For Freedom website seems to have closed down for good. I joined nearly a month ago. It took 3 weeks for me to receive any replies or acknowledgement for my posts/presence. Having received a sense of community over the last week and loads of messages (which have to go unread)...I had built this into my daily routine. Now I feel a little off kilter. Oh well.

      Creative Technology and Digital Media. It has a lot to do with the Creative and Cultural Industries, Creative Skills as well as heavy electronics, physics, biology, mathematics and (because I'm taking the Music Technology pathway) - Music, sampling and synthesis, theory, audio science and recording techniques.

    In a funny mood :) and wondering if I'll ever fit in the real world? Also, debating whether I want to fit in at all. Starting to really appreciate uniqueness.

      One thing that I can tell you though, (don't tell everybody - it's Top Secret/Confidential!!!) is that; I think I'm really starting to enjoy using this forum. It really beats the feeling of isolation - thinking you are alone... It's really good too to start seeing people's sense of humour coming through their writing :)
