  1. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....

Come on - I thought this was easy peezy! The lead singer was a real trier... did 'toast' while he was working as a studio/backing singer, then joined the Q-Tips then was big in his own right for a short time... Did LiveAid and everything! It's easy peasy!

Ahhhh, with you now. He crucified sang Wherever I lay my hat :shame:

  2. Why, Gentleman's relish, of course..........

Quick toast quiz and you're not allowd to look it up on 'tut' net...

Which band had a number one (?) hit with the song 'toast' ("it comes in little packages with writing on the side") and who was their lead singer?

    :D

Was it Ian Drury and the Blockheads?

I love peanut butter on toast - scrambled egg on toast (with brown sauce) - poached egg on toast (with brown sauce) - cheese on toast (with brown sauce) - emmantel cheese slices and milano salami on toast - pate on toast.............oh, and I like brown sauce

  3. Biltong...aaah, manna from heaven... an acquired taste though, not for the unsophisticated palate.

Do try some, everybody - the sewer rat variety I haven't come across  , but I bet bison biltong would be fantastic. :)

Don't pay any attention to BD, he doesn't appreciate finer cuisine, despite knowing words like "de - glaze" :P

Thanks for reminding me Kathryn  . I've got a stash of it hidden because our boys like it. If they know where it is it'll be gone in nano-seconds.

Going off to find it now :eat1: .

I know how much you love it BD, shall I send you some? maybe some houmous as well

  4. We have been informed by Mrs P of the sad loss earlier today of her husband, Ken (Phasmid).

Phas was a big part of this forum for several years and the help and support he offered hugely benefited all.

    He will be sadly missed.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to Mrs P and her family at this tragic time.

Annie, for and on behalf of the mods and admin

  5. Hi Tanya,

So sorry to hear you are all going through a rough patch at the moment >:D<<'> .

Somebody should be along shortly who can give you more information about CAMHS, we never had any dealings with them so, I can't help there, but I'm sure their input could only help your current situation.

Are you going to the 29th Feb meeting? If you haven't been invited, you really should be there. Your input into your son's education is very important, especially as the new SENCO doesn't appear to understand your son's difficulties  .
