  1. I have found that "some" behaviours exhibited are the result of the environment, sensory, lack of real understanding and/or expectations of the child. Whilst I agree that challenging, bad or agressive behaviour is not excusable by having aspergers all avenues need to be explored and I too would have been offended by the Head's response, I often think that "pro's" are quick to blame behaviour on the parenting skills of the parents/carers. There are better ways of approaching us to discuss our children and the school yard isn't one of them.

  2. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely news, such a positive and an inspiration. My son too is very much in to computers and gaming, reviewing, making or testing games would be his dream job.

A HUGE well done to your son and a HUGE >:D<<'> for you, I just love those proud parent moments.

  3. I'm really struggling this year for Jay. The only thing he's really interesed in are snails and sea-life. His birthday was end of November so we got him a couple of snail ornaments to start a collection, a book on pond creatures and a dvd on sea creatures. For Xmas we've got him a couple of snail oranments for his collection, a book on sea life and a dvd on sea creatures!! :hypno: Can't think of anything else, he has loads of books already anyway and he doesn't want toys or clothes or watches or anything like that, so we're really stuck!

    Mel,

Do any the Zoo's or marine life places do adopt a sea creature, might be a nice idea and as usually you get a certificate, photo etc in a pack plus a ticket to visit ?

    Just a thought.
