  1. Nasty so-and-sos ...they have you over a barrel and seem to be enjoying every minute of it. :bancomp:

I would think very carefully before going down the bridging loan route with this pair ....... I would be scared that the sale will still fall to pieces with what they've done already.

Hope I'm wrong and the rest of the sale goes without any further problems. >:D<<'>

Took YEARS for JP to tolerate clippers, well done!

We got the clippers because at the time ES was horrendous at the Barbers, wriggling, running off etc and since this was one of the jobs DH would do DH was getting annoyed with an 9+yr old who wouldn't 'behave' at the Barbers.

We got the clipper set and initally DH did both boys but then one day he got annoyed with YS for wriggling (when he was 5) so he gave up doing it ...this meant it became another 'Mummy job'.

ES still hates having his hair done and has to be bribed with PC time - however once he is sitting there he tends to tolerate it not too badly.

Ys has calmed down as well.

I just ignore the screams LoL and remind YS how stupid he looks with half his hair cut. Ys loves his hair once it's cut - he goes up to everyone and tells them how smart he is now!

Managed to get DD's hair washed today.

Now going to pick up Madam's new glasses.

  3. Mumble do you want a bolt hole in Scotland? I have a spare bed....

Do you have a mobile phone/MP3 player that does voice recording so you can record her and play it back to your supervisor??

Sounds as though you do need a day trip to somewhere even it's just the local park with a book and lie on the grass and read (or pretend to read and think about what's going on) before we see Newspaper Headlines:

Take Care. PM me if you want some time out.

No sign of mother ship as yet.............:lol: Bless her, she's been a absolutely little love

Hope you enjoyed while it lasted.

How old is she? Sounds like a younger version of my DD - mine lives up to the Nursery Rhymn : 'There was a little girl who had a little curl......' :hypno:

By the way Marmite rolls are great at anytime of the day. :eat:

  5. I'm another one who stays close to home ....with all 3 having different issues at school up to now I have concentrated on my own BUT I'm more than happy to try and help others to fight similar battles locally and hopefully with forums like these we can all support one another and pass on things that have worked and thus the knowledge spreads across the whole country (and beyond).

Maybe if YS settles into school come August I'll have time to be involved in something with further reach IYKWIM but until my children are sorted I have to concentrate on them. (NO ONE ELSE WILL IF I DON'T)

  6. Well done on being so brave....

Remember to rinse your mouth out like they told you to. I had a single tooth out one time and I wasn't as good at rinsing as I should have been so I ended up with a 'Dry Socket' - it was almost as painful as the original tooth ache. :tearful::tearful:

  7. Managed to cut both boys's hair using the clippers; AND as YS said " I didn't scream at all" - it was true, he didn't scream but he did keep wriggling and demandind water to rinse his mouth out etc

However ar least now they both look as though they might belong to the human race rather a strange tribe of Monsters from the Highlands.

Then they tried out the new shower (seperately) with no real problems.

  8. I haven't been to the New Forest in about 40 years since I was at Primary School ....I spent half term there with my mother's cousin and his family. I just remember I had a great time but couldn't recommend any special thing as such LoL.

  9. Well done Mumble ...you found a rare thing : a sympathetic dentist who teated you as a human bean - they do exist but they are few and far between. Hang on to you new Dentist and visit regularly.

Hope your tablets work.... hospitals arn't that bad - I work in them for 20 years before we moved to Scotland - admitedly I specialised in 'Care of the Elderly'.
