there Id like to introduce myself to your forum, Im a mum and my son who is now 20, is going through the process of been dignosed with aspergers.
although it was suspected from the age of seven and we were only told when my son james was 13, I cant say my life has been easy with my son but I
have struggled to get support and help for some years. The realisation that James may have aspergers has been very frightening for him, and there doesnt
seem to be anywhere were we can go for support. Im trying to help James be more independent and self relient although its hard to get him motivated
most the time.
