I am Blossom, who is mum to ds aged 7 and dd nearly 6.
Dd has dx of a pragmatic langauge disorder and although doesn't fit the criteria for an asd does have autistic traits. I think we have decided that the best thing is to sit and wait for a couple of years as I think (hopefully) things should become clearer by then!
Dd is in a SALT unit attached to a mainstream school and is doing very well. She is following an intensive NHS SALT run social skills programme which seems to be making a lot of difference.
