summertime Report post Posted March 10, 2007 not sure if this has been mentioned before but i couldnt find it during a quick search I was recently presented with a copy of the ISPEEK cd for school symbols so I could write a evaluate it for an educational magazine and I love it Its easier to use than the widget software as its not a programme but a series of symbols that you can import into any other programme such as word or publisher they do two sets of symbols, one for home and one for school. Ive not seen the home one but I'd definatly recommend the school one. has anyone else used them? http://www.ispeek.co.uk/index.asp?page=home.asp
aawmum Report post Posted March 12, 2007 Yes I have both of the CDs and they are really good, better than Boardmaker. They cost 27.00 each and I bought them from the National Autistic Society online shop, worth the money for making my son's PECS and when you look at the price of other symbols. The Ispeek website has free stuff too.
