smiley Report post Posted April 16, 2007 They've been going on about getting metal detectors into schools/colleges.............. Nothing about educating their kids.......... Or banning the weapons - one guy (pro-gun guy...) was saying that if every student had a gun - they would have been able to protect themselves............... Defies logic eh! baddad Report post Posted April 17, 2007 America - what the rest of the world aspires to I accidentally caught a dom jolie documentary about the bible belt a few weeks ago: You could walk into any shop in any town and buy pretty much any gun over the counter... half of those same towns had prohibition on the sale & consumption of alcohol... chriss Report post Posted April 17, 2007 After the shootings at Columbine I read that any American students who were in anyway slightly different from the norm were treated with mistrust. Not a place to be a Goth, loner or aspie. It is heartbreaking to watch the news. May they Rest in Peace.
