pearl Report post Posted April 27, 2007 ...to see Ian McKellen as King Lear Its the first time we have ever left J alone overnight (he's 17) Now, what do you think his plans for the weekend are? Is he planning to advertise a party on Myspace & cause 30k worth of damage? No, he's planning.... to clear out our kitchen cupboards! Sometimes I love having an autistic teenager! Bard Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I love your post and am delighted to agree...although mine is only 12. That's exactly what I thought when I read the news article...never gonna be my boy! It helps you through some of the trickier moments, when you think of all the teenage traumas we are unlikely to have to live through. And because your post gave me hope for the future, I will crush the green-eyed monster within me, and hope you had a fantastic time. Shakespeare King Lear Ian Mckellen only 5 more years to go! pearl Report post Posted April 29, 2007 Lol, the Bard had to reply to a Shakespeare post! Just got back, it was wonderful, he made me laugh, he made me cry, he got a standing ovation. Reminded me sooo much of my grumpy old uncle! He looked exhausted at the end. Shakepeares b'day w/e too so lots going on, famous actors to spot, oo I was in heaven! J threw out 2 bags of out of date stuff - trouble was it was stuff like salt & baking powder which I use once in a blue moon but which doesnt go off! Oh well. <'> your turn will come hun. <'> We're aiming for 2 nights next time!
