Hi all,

can someonre please recommend a good imformative book about AS, i was thinking of buying the book that tony attwood has written on girls with AS, as there is very little info online which is just about girls, has anyone read this one and would you recommened it or is the there a better alternative.

I haven't read his one on girls but his other book on AS (for parents) is very good. I've read a lot of book (mainly to do with sensory problems) and have just ordered 3 more from Amazon  (one on behaviour, one on communication and can't even remember the third  ) The reviews there can be helpful.

A x

Hi aro/bagpuss,

Thanks for your replys

I went to smiths and waterstones at the weekend, but neither of them had Tony attwoods book on girls  they didnt even have it on there stock list to order in, so i will have to get it on amazon, but i like to have a nosey first.

I ended up buying the new complete guide to aspergers syndrome, by the same guy, it has a good section on sensory problems aro, so far from what ive read is really good and imformative with very little jargon.

Bagpuss, Liane Holliday Willey book, does she go back to her early childhood in her book, my daughters almost 5, so im looking for something thats will help me now if poss :)

Thanks again,

Shelley
