Got the results of my MRI scan back on my neck.

 

Appears part of the spinal bone is putting pressure on the nerves in the spine which is why I'm having so much pain in my neck, shoulders, arms, hands etc.

 

Been referred to a neurosurgeon now so not sure whether I'll be going down the operation route or the manipulation route. If it gets me off these opiates I don't care!

Yesterday I got a new pain relief method - a TENS machine courtesy of our wonderful NHS. After half an hour's training from the consultant nurse I am now all wired up.

 

If you ain't used one then you haven't lived it's really good - but don't turn it up too quickly!

 

So it will keep me going till the neurosurgeon appointment in January 2008!

ahh yes the great tens

i luv my tens, have used it for endo, sore coccyx,

bursitis in me legs, bad heads

 

 

keep naggin them to get seen sooner tho
