illy Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Hi due to all that has happened at my sons school recently, and him not coping at all well, we are thinking of looking at a new school (Special School). I have been told that we need to arrange an Interim Review Meeting. Please if you have any more details on this, how to go about it etc, then please let me know. Thanks illy
smiley Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Hiya, My sons school have asked for an interim review. But parents can also request one. Taken from IPSEA: You should ask for an early review if you believe: * that your child?s needs have changed and are no longer accurately described in Part 2 of the Statement; or * that the provision in Part 3 of the Statement is no longer meeting your child?s needs. IPSEA: Early review Hope that helps
Kazzen161 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 If you can, I would go and look round the school before calling a review. You may not like it, but if you do, you will know how to angle your arguement at the review.
