Tally Report post Posted December 27, 2007 I just decided to clean the bathroom. My uncle and his girlfriend are coming tomorrow, and I want the place to look reasonably presentable. The grout in the shower was getting a bit mouldy so I bought a cream cleaner with bleach in it. If it doesn't remove the mould, it will at least make it less visible, and that will do nicely! But instead, it bleached the green out of my scourer, and stained the grout green instead! So now I have to clean it again with plain bleach before tomorrow afternoon! Bagpuss Report post Posted December 27, 2007 You could try a toothbrush with some bleach on it Tally
Tally Report post Posted December 31, 2007 It worked! No, do you know a good way to remove burned-on plastic from a ceramic hob?

Mumble Report post Posted December 31, 2007 No, do you know a good way to remove burned-on plastic from a ceramic hob? Don't put plastic near a hot hob in the first place? Could you burn it off? (with a fire blanket on stand-by in case that's a really really bad suggestion??)
anita81 Report post Posted December 31, 2007 (edited) turn the hob back on and let it warm the plastic, then scrape it off with an old butter knife. Edited December 31, 2007 by anita81
