oxgirl Report post Posted February 9, 2008 Talking to someone else about school uniforms made me think of the next challenge I could work on with Jay! He hasn't worn anything with buttons for over 12 years! We've got so used to it that we've almost forgotten about it and, because he doesn't have to wear a shirt for school, it's just perpetuated it really. He used to have a very severe aversion to buttons and we tried many, many times to introduce clothes with buttons but he would always become hysterical. Have to say, the years went by and we gradually gave up with it and just got used to putting him in t-shirts. Think I'm gonna have to look into addressing this one, one day he might be at work and will need to wear a shirt or something, so it can't be avoided forever. Wish us luck! ~ Mel ~
