Bard Report post Posted July 3, 2008 Are you talking about a girlfriend? The first time I hugged my OH, he froze and felt like a block of wood. He also shuddered whenever I kissed him. When he began to hug me, it felt awkward for a long time, all the pressure in odd places, I used to rearrange him round me so that it felt comfortable. It was hard, confusing and lonely sometimes for him before I fell in love with him, but it's worked out for us.
