waiting.........................

Recommended Posts

my son is 13,in mainstream,just

we have a statement that identifies need for designated specialist provision

there are no places in school we want him to go to., but the head of the dept has said they can kinda mess with the numbers

so, she been to see him today, and is reporting back to her head to see if he ll agree the school can meet his needs

Im fraught, waiting for phone to go, so in limbo, and poor son so confused

Hes not even in classes at mo, and tonight, his uniform was covered in mud, and kids had been spitting at him

Bets of all, these kids are the "cool" kids and they told me they were asking him to do stuff, like "moon" and theyd put it on their phones

he didnt, but where the hell does these kids get off, they will grow up to be horrific, cruel people

Not sure why Ive posted, just suppose this incident tonight just proves how much he needs specialist placement

Well lisa I hope he gets a place there.

What a horrible thing for those kids to do. This sort of thing, especially the mobile phone thing, I would report to the school and if the boys aren't disciplined properly, personally I'd call the police. The thing about these recorded videos on mobile phones they do the rounds with everyone and often end up being posted on some websites. I think this goes way beyond bullying.

Good luck with the new school. Will keep everything crossed.

Oh God, it makes you despair, If one of my NT kids behaved like that I would be gutted, I would find that soo much harder to deal with than all the troubles DS2 gives. I think anyway :tearful: Very Very goddluck, hope it goes well. Enid

thanks all, thing is, it was this evening when this happened with the phone

He esperatley wants to be "in"with these kids, so was probly playing along, if that makes sense? But cos of his aspergers , didnt realise they were bullying ,they said things like if you do this.....we ll be your friend, they re ###### 12, old enough to know better

He was so upset, because he really thought they were going to be his friend, it makes me feel sick, what on earth will they grow up to be

Oh sweetheart big hugs, and to your DS too.

Children are so cruel and our children just don't get it :( I think that a specialist placement sounds ideal and your son will go leaps and bounds. I hope they can jiggle the numbers and accomodate him.

Hope and pray he gets a place, he really deserves it, not like those kids who are intent on having a laugh at someone elses expence, I would write a letter of complaint to your school and report it to the police.

Good Luck with the placement.

You poor thing how dreadful! >:D<<'> Think that's really appalling what those kids have done to your son, even though he had the good sense not to do iwhat they said despite their fake promises. Thank goodness - that's your support for him paying off.

Let's hope he does get that place, so he can grow and flourish without that kind of stuff happening. Our kids lives are hard enough without having to fight off that kind of bullying

fingers crossed,

Sarah
