chris54 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Being in a minority group, I find over and over that I am discriminated against, thought of as second rate, and general patronised. Most of the people doing this do not mean to and do not even realize they are doing it. What is my crime? I am a dad who also happens to be the main carer for my son and have been from when he was born. His mum my wife is disabled, nothing to serious but enough to stop her doing what most mums do. I was the one who got up in the night, who bathed, dressed and fed him(he was bottle fed), who took him to toddler group, clinics and so on and so no. And while doing all this trying to earn enough to live on. So please remember this, and don't assume it is always mum.

Clare63 Report post Posted November 15, 2008 Chris, Can empthaise with this, well my husband can, he became main carer of our son from the age of 8 months till 8 years old as I had to work fulltime. He too felt much discrimination. Clare x x x
