hi everyone, I'm marco.

 

I'm dx AS, had lots of horrible experiences but am fairly happy now... panic attacks excluded.

I'd really like to hear from aspies at uni who might be in the same type of situation that I am - at the mo I've had to take time off due to meds side effects etc...

 

I hope everyone had an xmas as stress free as possible.

I'm writing a doctoral thesis on psycholinguistics. I did a Bsc and Msc in psychology. But I also can't ask for a coffee in a cafe without wretching and staggering out like a monster from a horror movie... and it looks so easy when other people do it.

Hi Marco, welcome to the forum Linguistics is my subject too.

 

I don't have AS but as a parent of an adult daughter who is hoping to go to university in the near future I take a keen interest in the experiences of people like yourself.
