Bored, Bored, Bored

Recommended Posts

Having now realise that I'm the most bored person the face of the planet I wondered if anyone would like to share their own 'boredom beating techniques' to, erm, beat boredom*

So far I've come up with:

  • Hide in the freezer at the supermarket pretending to be an arctic explorer 'frozen in ice...and time'
  • Arrange the contents of the kitchen cupboards in order of size/weight/salt content/colour/sell by date
  • Go around the house in the style of a super-hero, possibly humming a small 'dramatic entrance' tune whenever you enter a room
  • Get the fluff out of the vacuum cleaner and try to make some sort of 'modern art' sculpture
  • Phone up local take-away restaurants, order pizza/curry/whatever and then hang up when they ask for an address and/or credit card details
  • Make a graph to work out who is the best presenter on Top Gear (categories to include hair, height, annoyance value, northerness etc.)
  • Watch TV while standing on your head
  • Compile a league table of the worst people in history (Ricky Gervais, Russel Brand, Uncle Joe Stalin etc.) rating them with 'angry faces'
  • Recreate the Spanish civil war using frozen peas for the good guys and frozen sweetcorn for the bad guys
  • Answering the door in the style of Ernst Stavro Blofeld (off of James Bond)

Despite all that...I'm still bored :(

*This is a joke thread. It isn't meant to be serious before anyone assumes that I'd actually do any of these things or would encourage anyone else to do any of these things
