I chose to dance!

Was at a family wedding do last night, normally I ended up being literally dragged on the dancefloor, but last night I actually chose to dance! Of my own free will I danced so much last night I think we burned off the dinner that we had Doesn't sound like it was much of an achievement but it was for me, I even dealt semi ok with all the noise.

And how much , , (and vodka) etc. had you had before you made this 'decision'?

Isnt it great when that happens, good stuff. I take my son to club nights that are for adults with disabilities, the whole venue turns into a night club, and they are best night clubs ive ever been to

I don't dance

 

unless the dance has set steps/moves to it, such as at a Ceilidh

 

but general dancing to random music I tend to avoid! lol

Good on you, sounds like you had fun.

 

I enjoy dancing myself, to "Northern" soul music which has its own dance nights away from the mainstream nightclub scene and people are so much friendlier. I almost feel able to, not quite forget having AS, but at least not feel so conscious of it, when enjoying meeting my friends there.

alanm, ive found the same, northern soul nights are great fun, and you are right, the crowd are much friendlier and welcoming than on an average night out. Northern Soul music eh, allegedly the best music there is ,x
