ktf Report post Posted October 6, 2010 Hi my beautiful son is 13 years old and is in the process of having a diagnosis of Aspergers. Although i have been trawling the net for the past 2 years looking for information after realising he had AS we were not going to have a diagnosis as he seemed to be fine and in no need of help, well all that changed last year when puberty kicked in so here i am in the middle of diagnosis and probably a little in shock of how he has changed and find myself lost, overwhelmed and out of my depth, so i am hoping for a little advice particularly from anyone with a teenager or who has been a teen! Thank you in advance
oxgirl Report post Posted October 6, 2010 Welcome ktf, My lad is 16. It can't be easy getting a dx as a teen, how does your lad feel about the dx, does he accept it? Hope it leads to getting the help that he needs. ~ Mel ~
