Cardamine Report post Posted November 26, 2010 Born On A Blue Day - Daniel Tammet Martian In The Playground - Clare Sainsbury Life Behind Glass - Wendy Lawson I loved 'born on a blue day'. At the moment i'm reading 'Solutions for adults with Aspergers Syndrome' by Jaunita Lovett. I'm finding it presents a really negetive view of aspergers and it's quite painful to read. It has lots of stories of long sufferering wives and parents who have to deal with unthinking and difficult AS people. It has some advice which may be useful, but i think this one should come with a health warning.
Mumble Report post Posted November 26, 2010 Any others? My favourite is Songs of the Gorilla Nation by Dawn Prince Hughes. It's very different from the others on your list. You can get a second hand copy very cheaply on Amazon.
Beth_ Report post Posted November 26, 2010 I'm currently reading Pretending to be Normal and it's the only book on the subject that I've had trouble relating to. Aspergirls is definately the book that I've found most interesting and relavent to me so far.
