SimonJC Report post Posted April 18, 2011 If it's just the first appointment (ie asessment with Mental Health team / IAPT) then it shouldn't take more than a couple of months depending on where you live. I saw my GP only a month ago and I have an appointment with a local treatment centre next week. I'm told that getting referred on to a specialist after that is very hit and miss. Hope that helps.
