Linnet Report post Posted August 8, 2011 I've just read 'Pretending to be Normal' and the bit where Lianne went for a scan when pregnant and was told there were 2 heads really struck a chord with me. Just as she thought she was having a baby with 2 heads rather than twins, when I had a scan during a long labour the nurse said 'there's no head' and I thought I was having a headless baby. She actually meant he was breech. Has anyone else had occasions when they've been sent into total panic because they've misunderstood what was being said to them?
