Special_talent123 Report post Posted November 21, 2012 Well I had the assessment yesterday, and it turns out I do not have Bipolar, nor do I have enough symptoms to meet the BPD criteria.... I do however have what she described as having 'emotionally unstable' traits... basically she does not think i have learned the life skills as a child to deal with my emotions due to all that happened to me. in 2 weeks have to see my GP because psychiatrist is prescribing me 'Quetiapine' - but have to be careful they can make me drowsy, gain weight and make my heart irregular. so suggests me to have a ECG - but is going to see me next on 8th January 2013. However Dr is liaising with other professionals to get psychologist to do this workbook that helped me in the past without having to do the group. when volunteering if have episodes to give me time and talk but suggests the traffic light system on emotions. .
