advice wanted re groups

hi was chatting with someone other day and we we wodernin about setting up some sort of support thing, both for kids and parents/carers

i can prob get a venue, but it will cost

any ideas of how to get funding for the costs?

To begin with you will probably have to ask any parents who attend any meetings you have to give a donation - we asked for a pound - not really a donation but it covered the cost of the hire of the venue.

 

Then you will need to form a committee and set up a bank account. Once you have that up and running you can apply for funding.
