dodobird Report post Posted December 23, 2005 I have an african grey (which is what the bird is in the video) and he talks quite well. He calls the dog when we open the door, he says "come on". The other day I heard our dog bark to be let in and the dog was asleep on the floor, it was Toby. He also tells our other parrot to shut up when he squawks and does impressions of our microwave. We used to have a mynah bird and every now and then toby does his mynah call, it's weird as Archie died about 3 years ago. Our other parrot says lots too, he say's Whats the matter, whats going on, and he screams and shouts when one of the kids is having a meltdown. I gets quite noisy in our house at times. Viper.
