baddad Report post Posted December 30, 2005 the goodies?? have i missed something?? I have no idea what ur talking about! Hi SD - If you played the 'flappy wuff wuff' game in the 12 days thread you'll have heard a delightful little ditty about 'blowing off'... That's what you missed, along with "Black pudding Bertha", "A man's best friend is his duck", "Funky Gibbon", "Inbetwwenies" and - my personal fave AFTER "Blowin off" (because of the Xylophone solo) "Father Christmas do not touch me"... Silly, silly TV, from the late 70's...
something_different Report post Posted December 30, 2005 ok i am still lost! i did not play that game as just recenly came back to the forum and i was not even born in the 70s ha ha

Viper Report post Posted December 30, 2005 The Goodies got me in trouble at school. (BD get your mind out of the gutter) I was in the dinner queue and started singing the theme tune, the dinner lady told me to stop but when she went I started again and got sent out, I missed all the best dinner stuff and had to have what was left. Oh the heady days of youth. Of course that was in a previous life cos I'm really only 17 SD it was a TV show with Bill Oddie amongst others (who I can't remember but I'm sure BD or Phas can tell you) Viper. something_different Report post Posted December 30, 2005 I have no idea who Bill Oddie is either! But i am sure it was a good show in its time
loulou Report post Posted December 31, 2005 Hi, Is this how the theme tune went? "Goodies, Goodies, Goody-goody yum yum!" No? Probably not, that just popped out of the archives of my brain I was born in'73, so i can't remember the show, but i know my Dad loved it. lorryw Report post Posted December 31, 2005 Watched it and loved it. Confessed to husband that I had fancied Tim Brooke Taylor who fell about laughing. I then reminded him that a few months ago someone had asked him for his autograph......they thought he was Bill Oddie. Another illusion bites the dust.
