DaisyProudfoot Report post Posted January 23, 2006 My son's SEN teacher is going on maternity leave soon, I'm dreading her going, she's the only one who understands Martin. It's only a small school and HT won't even recognise Martin has AS - even though she has a copy of a report from the psychiatrist with the written dx He has social, emotional and concentration problems at school which HT is very aware of but - it's like - AS doesn't exist in her school. And she's got two of them dx'd at least! I'm so dreading this, he's only got one more year in primary after this Well hopefully he'll kick off big time when his calming influence of an SEN teacher has gone and then HT WILL know what's hit her (not literally I hope) Daisy
