bettybiscuit123 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has watched the film Davids Mother - Starring Kirstie Alley. I think its a film about a mother and her relationship with her autistic son. Was contimplating buying it, but not sure whether it is any good or not, dont know if its another one of those hollywood over the top and over dramatised films or whether it is true to life. If anyone has seen it or heard about it, i would be grateful to hear from you! Thankyou, Chantelxx
fiorelli Report post Posted February 15, 2006 I have watched about 10 minutes of it on the 'True Movies' thing on sky (I think) Unfortunately, I had to go out, but the few minutes I did see, seemed a fairly good portrayal of life with Autism - but I would need to watch all of it to give a proper review. bettybiscuit123 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 Have decided to order it as it is really cheap, so I cant lose really! Thanks for your replies, its a shame there arent many films out with true stories of people affected with ASD, as i think it would raise abit more public awareness of autism.
