007paul007 Report post Posted March 3, 2006 My son is 17, 18 later on this year, he is currently on 1.0ml in the morning and 1.5ml in the evening , we keep trying to wean him off it but everytime we try something happen and he the dose has to go back ! Elanor Report post Posted March 3, 2006 Mine's on 0.5mg - he started this dose 2 years ago, and is a lot bigger now (12) - so in proportion to his body size, the dose has reduced. We used to be able to cut back to half tablets on some days, but don't do this now - he's generally happier and more settled, so I put this down to his growth. My cousin is a pharmacist, and she told me that 5mg (ie 10 times our dose) is a moderate dose for an adult who needs it as an anti-psychotic. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
