Kathryn Report post Posted March 25, 2006 Well, Spring has finally sprung and it's the great clock adjustment tonight - we have so many in our house it seems to take forever. I hate losing an hour's sleep, especially as we have relatives over for lunch tomorrow. I find this time of year though my mood really lightens with the longer evenings - how about you? How do your children adjust to the change? K x

baddad Report post Posted March 26, 2006 surely clocks always go forward??? Well, unless you're in the tardis! Oh - THAT sort of 'forward one hour'... Why don't we just split the difference - put them forward half an hour and never change them again??? I mean, it's not like we's all up 'arvesting these days, is it? Guest hallyscomet Report post Posted March 27, 2006 (edited) Hi. Its amazing I finally got through. My computer is capped thanks to my son and his downloading you go forward an hour and we go back an hour but not until April 2. I wanted to post in a few areas but because my computer is capped, I will say it here "Happy Mothers Day" to all we don't have Mothers Day until 14th May Contratulations to Lindy Loo Be back on here on the 1/4/06 as the lag time trying to post in ssssslllllllooooowwww Don't even know if it will time out before this gets through Just adding to this- because of the Commonwealth Games they decided to extend daylight saving an extra week to 2/4/06 but, all the computers around Australia automatically turned back an hour. I had a doctors appointment at the Specialist for my daughter at 4.30pm and was planning to leave home at 4pm to give us plenty of time, but, I hadn't realise the computer automatically went back an hour regardless, as normally we would have gone back this weekend also. To my horror my daughter raced in and said its 5pm so I quickly rang the doctor and told her what had happened, thinking I was going mad, and she said its okay this happened to them too. So she was still able to see my daughter. Now I am going to have to adjust the time on my computer : lol : This is making me dizzy, so I am sure you are more confused than I am. Blame the Commonwealth Games, we are not a backward country : lol : Speak with you soon All the best Hailey Edited March 27, 2006 by hallyscomet
