anyone like strawberrys?

i love strawberrys -can eat a punnet a day just cut up with bit of sugar on-

 

i was very sad over winter as the un english ones were horrid

 

but my joy as shopping in sainsburys other day

 

when i spotted some english ones -new season -beautifull they was

off i send my poor hubs there then

i was drawn by the smell of some spanish strawbs other day, but htey not taste as nice as english

altho scottish ones are ALWAYS the best lmvfao

Yer cant beet english strawberries.

 

Some of the best we ever had were from on of those pick yer own farms.They were gorgeus.I like mine with sugar and cream on them.

 

I love fresh pinnapple too there realy good at the moment.

 

Worst place i find to buy fruite is ASDA it always goes rotton after a day or too.God knows where they get it from.

My OH is a gardener. Not saying I'm keen on strawbs but he has a polytunnel with a 14ft x 30 ft strawberry patch.......... Come the summer I'll be out there just picking them and eating them straight from the plant, yummm........ Some make it indoors to be had with a big dollop of clotted cream..... and when even I am of them, the rest get frozen for smoothies over the winter.

Got some big juicy ones from Te*co don't know if they where English ones but they tasted like them.They where yummy!!!

Thebest strawberries I've ever had were growing wild in Norway. They were really tiny, but tasted wonderful. English come second best to them, but they are pretty good.
