phasmid Report post Posted June 4, 2006 Just had this drop in my in-box and thought some might like to see it...so: Dear everyone We have had a number of requests to provide a chatroom led by the BIBIC therapists on two issues that effect many of us with children, behaviour and nutrition. We also welcome your input, as children are so individual we are always learning from them and from you! The first chat will be with Graham Valentine who specialises at BIBIC in autism and behavioural problems. He will be on line on 19 June from 1 - 3 pm. Please join in if you are at home or in your lunch break if you are at work! The second chat will be with Carolyn Hill, one of the BIBIC nutritional therapists who specialises in the nutrition needs of children with medical conditions and special needs. She will be on line on 28 June from 10 - 12 noon. If you are unable to join us in the daytime and would like the sessions repeated one evening please let us know. If you have not yet registered for the chatrooms and would like to do so now, please follow the link below. For security reasons all discussions take place only with those who are registered and have been allocated a user name and password. To register click here. This is a memebr only thing so you'd have to pre-register on the BIBIC website ahead of time. BIBIC stands for (if my memory serves me correctly) British institute for brain injured children, before I get a deluge of comments this 'chat' has, as they point out, been organised following requests from their membership, I am not saying that it is their opinion that our children are 'brain damaged' and niether are they! Just thought this might be of use to some. If your not one of them please think of those who it might find it helpful - regardless of the groups name.
