DOH!

Recommended Posts

Had Ben's review meeting today, and it was generally a fairly positive affair, but for me the highlight was seeing his personal input (which hadn't been sent to me previously)...

In 'future objectives' ("What you you like to learn next year?") He'd offered

1 - to do more IT

2 - to learn how to use chopsticks properly...

:lol::lol::lol:

I think the 'properly' bit was what got to me most, 'cos, like, he's SOOO nearly there :lol: NOT!!

C's contribution was 'more Lego and K'nex'.

In fact, that was his answer for most of the questions -- oh, and 'make lessons more fun because they're boring'!

Awww bless him, well you better get the sticks out. I still remember plaguing my Grandad to teach me as he spent a lot of time in China when he was in the navy, he sat for hours and taught us.

Stuck evetually, by that I mean literally as he used sticky fixers at first to help us hold them

M's contribution was recorded - 15 mins of 1-2-1 trying very hard to ask M questions about school and M saying 'I'd rather not discuss that thank you':blink: And then a 10 min monologe on Transformers :blink::lol:

Pleased the review went well :D

I also have a Ben and he would have a curriculum of IT,ITAND IT if he could so yor Ben's response is no surprise however chopsticks is certainly original.

Ive been involved with gathering info for reviews from various SEN children over the years. I always have to bite my lower lip when recording what the child likes best about school. usual answers:

1.nothing

2.going home

3.breaktime

and one little lad liked the stairs!
