Bullet Report post Posted August 10, 2006 (edited) I posted about this on an earlier thread a couple of days ago. Incidentally Ms Ford's own website has a disclaimer stating they will not be held responsible for the views of anyone on the community boards. Jill Report post Posted August 10, 2006 I think it's a real shame. A board should not be held responsible for the member's comments. They belong to that member alone. This could have really horrible potential knock on effects for boards like this, that are a real lifeline to so many of us.
Canopus Report post Posted August 10, 2006 My attitude is to set up discussion boards in the US or Tonga which have less draconian laws against alleged defamation than in Britain. I would never set up a discussion board with a British ISP.
Bullet Report post Posted August 10, 2006 Sorry Nellie. I'll try and refrain from personal comments about certain childcare expers in future
