I had read about it on another site while i cant say i didnt take much notic of what it was all about ,but i have just read on the link all about how it started out and how it got where it is today.

I posted about this on an earlier thread a couple of days ago. Incidentally Ms Ford's own website has a disclaimer stating they will not be held responsible for the views of anyone on the community boards.

I think it's a real shame. A board should not be held responsible for the member's comments. They belong to that member alone.

 

This could have really horrible potential knock on effects for boards like this, that are a real lifeline to so many of us.

My attitude is to set up discussion boards in the US or Tonga which have less draconian laws against alleged defamation than in Britain. I would never set up a discussion board with a British ISP.
