jools Report post Posted September 3, 2006 well we went away friday morning and returned saturday afternoon to a frantic MIL and a tearful son. nothing major had happened, just the usual need to adhere to routines etc which she just can't see or understand but no harm had come to anyone (this time!). she has said she never wants to stay over night again because it took him over an hour to settle at night......personally i think this was good and speaking to my daughter he wasn't naughty he just needed reassurance, which unfortunately he wasn't getting. so it may be our last night away for another 11 yrs.....LOL it was all worth it though to see Robbie!.....he was fantastic
mbrown Report post Posted September 3, 2006 Glad you enjoyed the concert. My SIL was there too. Only one hour to settle? What's MIL's secret?? It's a shame she's taken it badly. Ask her how she would feel if it was like that everynight? Mike
oracle Report post Posted September 3, 2006 (edited) OMG ask her to bottle the secret of her success - or maybe show her these replies and she will understand how lucky she was I would say that your son worked the score out for himself as our children often do But hey you did it and you seen 'the man' himself and came back to a relative calm so well done you Oracle Edited September 3, 2006 by oracle
