Shnoing Report post Posted May 8, 2008 They want to know the numbers: Academics at the University of Leicester will lead the research which will include a study of a sample of the adult population - a sort of mini census .
Kathryn Report post Posted May 8, 2008 I caught the report this morning on Radio 4 Today programme, so it got prime time airing. Simon Baron Cohen was being interviewed by James Naughtie. I think it was about 10 past 8 if you want to listen again via the website. I was too busy rushing around to give it my full attention, but I was surprised at James Naughtie (who I have huge respect for as an intelligent and knowledgeable journalist) - describing autism as a "disease" and later as an "illness". Simon BC challenged him on this, as expected. K x
