Dear All Over the years www.krism.org.uk and lately www.asd-forum.org.uk has become a useful resource for many people touched in one way or another by Aspergers, ASD or Autism. The hosts would like as many people as possible to use the forum and in doing so share their vast wealth of advice and information for the benefit of all other members of this forum. In order to do this we need your help to provide feedback on how you found out about www.krism.org.uk and lately www.asd-forum.org.uk. For instance you might have been recommended to the site by an existing member. If this is the case we do not need to know who recommended you to the site but simply the fact that you was recommended to the forum by an existing member. You might have come across a link to this forum from another website or forum in which case the website page or forum topic would be really useful if you have this information. You might have performed an Internet search using a search engine such as Google or Yahoo search in which case we would like to know which search engine you used and the keywords you entered to search with for example :- Search Engine: Google Keywords used: +ASD +Forum +UK Many thanks in advance Lufty

Hi Viper Also just a thought to check your personal profile as there are two settings which affect the display of PM notifications. Go to "My Controls" Then "Board Settings" under "Options" Make sure :- "Do you wish to get a board notification when you get a new personal message?" is set to "Yes" "Disable your personal messenger" is set to "No" Kind regards Lufty

Hi hev All you need to do is type your post and then press the button (which is a tick with the letters ABC above it) on the top of your post page next to the font and size drop downs. This brings up a new window with your message on the left. It then spell checks your document and highlights any spelling errors on the left hand side of the window with suggestions for the correct spelling on the right hand side of the window. This sounds more difficult than it really is so give it a go with a post and see how you get on. Let me know if you need any further information Kind regards Lufty

Hi Viper I have discussed the suggestion with the Hosts and we have decided not to included a new catagory for Polls at the moment as we currently have very few on the forum. We will review this if the situation changes. Many thanks for your suggestion Lufty

As Gordie has already noticed, the winner of the competition is littlenemo. The hosts particulary liked the Celtic eternal Knot which represents our links together as a community. The meaning of the Celtic Knot in Celtic lore and culture is the cycle of nature and the apparent endless spiral through time (eternity) that life follows. A deep and probably apt meaning. The colours also represent the Autistic spectrum. The other decider is that Elefan is Scottish We have asked littlenemo to make a small change to the logo by putting the word "and" into lower case. Hi Auriel The change was part of the move to a new hosting arrangement which should make the forum more stable and reliable. The decision was taken to rename the forum at the same time to www.asd-forum.org.uk as it is a more appropiate site name for the forum. Kind regards Lufty
