  1. Jen I hope you have got IPSEA and PP involved as they cannot get away wih half of what they are trying and it is also worth raising at the hearing itself.
  2. I hate to say it but in my experience the whole panel making the decision based on the reports/evidence is absolute NONSENSE. We had a massive battle last year with our LEA as many herre know and when we had fought for statutory assessment (Involving SENDIST tribunal) we were STILL refused a statement and were issued a so called note in lieu which made it glaringly obvious that they had NOT read the reports given as part of statutory assessment and when we got PP involved it was proved and the LEA were forced to back down shortly before our next SENDIST hearing was due in London. I am NEVER going to trust the LEA again and have real issues in trying to trust schools again too.
  3. Awww hun I really hope it works out for you all xx
  4. L is having his end of Year 7 exams all this week and is so all over the place bless him, even more disorganised than ever lol. One good thing is it means he finishes school half an hour early all week (2.50pm instead of 3.20, so won't be happy next week when its back to normal time again)
  5. This year will be interesting with my younger two as I have moved them to a different primary school as I finally gave up with that one that let L down so badly. My youngest went straight into Reception in the new school in January and my middle son is in year 5 transfered there this week when he was finally offered a place (we let him make the final decision and he was desperate to leave still) So I don't know any of the teachers yet. L will be going into Year 8.
  6. Lol Trouble is he is clearly carefully choosing which comments he displays on his blog.
  7. After reading Peter Hitchens article in the Mail on Sunday I loked for a way to answer him back and found the man has a blog as he loves the attention so much. http://hitchensblog.mailonsunday.co.uk/200...e.html#comments
  8. My Aspie son is left handed and so is my middle son.
  9. Hi, He is in mainstream but they are well known for their SEN provision. We have been pretty impressed so far, the school seem to see Luke as an individual and are willing to make little changes for him (he gets extra time to get changed for PE and they have been letting him get changed alone as he finds the changing room chaos hard, but they are also trying to help encourage him to try it. He is a different child in some ways, for example, he actually WANTS to talk about school, feels able to go to the pupils office if something worries him in school (Have had a few calls from them to let me know what is going on which is great too)
  10. I never heard of this either. Luke had a very large head from birth and they did panic aobut the rate it was growing at (fast), he was given 2 ultrasound scans through his soft spot within his first 9 months, but they were not able to find a cause having ruled out hydrocephalas (sp?)
  11. Luke did not walk in any way till he was 2 and a half years old. (Could never crawl) He was talking properly at about 18 months.
  12. Its mad, I am actually nervouds about this, after everything we have been through with tribunals and everything I thnik I just expect everythingto be a battle. It is at 1.15 today. I am just waiting for a mechanic to come and try and fix my car (only passed my test 3 weeks ago)
