Hope all went well!
My son has his appt with paediatrician on 18 May, although he has had an initial diagnosis of Aspergers from School Doctor. I must admit I am really anxious as if they say there is nothing wrong I don't quite know what I will do as I know and his teacher/TA's know that there is something not quite right and he is struggling to fit in with mainstream school (he is in reception year).
Hopefully we will find out exactly what is going on and that will mean that people will start trying to understand him for what HE is.
An Ed Psych was observing another child and picked up on my son initially, plus I have said since his was a babe that something wasn't quite right but couldn't say exactly what (I think GP, HV and family thought I was an over protective mother - in all honesty who isn't!!!)
Good luck and our thoughts are with you.
