  1. Special_talent123 ----- I'd rather say that I give my mum permission to speak to them...but you can't do that! A-S warrior ---- Hahaha! I went onto the website yesterday and went onto the customer support then it sent me to this thing where you can ask this person questions....took me a while to work out that it wasn't a real person! I felt like a right Muppet. she didn't even give me the right answer.... I think one day I shall have to type a really stupid question in and see what they come back with!!
  2. Had a problem with my bank account a couple of weeks back and I finally got round to ringing them up this evening. Well... I hate talking over the phone at the best of times but when it's something kinda important it's even worse. I always seem to get people who don't speak English...luckly tonight I got a English person! Don't know whether anyone else struggles to talk to people like that over the phone..and follow instructions?
  3. I hate it when I spot someone walking my way from primary or secondary school...if they ever stop to talk I have know idea what to talk about...it's a lot worse when I'm in a bad mood. Luckly doesn't happen much
  4. Was there two? I'm thinking of the one 'postman pat, postman pat, post man pat and his black and white cat' or is the special delivery one?!!! Got it stuck in my blumming head now!
  5. I'll be there for you - Friends opening theme. Also Postman Pat, that was an ace song !
  6. We do Soul Limbo in the band (the cricket theme) Fleetwood Mac - The Chain on the F1 is an absolute brilliant song!
  7. darkshine Carnivals and things similar to that are different, you get different people. We played a gig a couple of weeks ago and it was one of the best gigs I've done. Everyone was up dancing and singing along. It was brilliant!! Last year at a torchlight possession...we won a prize for the 'best marching band' How I don't know...as we were on the back of a lorry!!
  8. Yeah, there were loads of people yesterday!
  9. Luckily we've only had one wet one, if it does rain we can't let the pans or anything get wet as it would ruin them!
  10. We've had three or four carnivals this year with the band. Today has been the best one I've done all season.
  11. Had our last carnival of the season today. Played none stop for 2hours of the back of a lorry
  12. Attached is a video of the band at one of our practices. The song is The Great Escape. It's part of 3 songs but put all together; the first one being Chariots Of Fire then The Great Escape then Soul Limbo (AKA the cricket song to us)
  13. If that's what there called..then yes. They were ace
  14. God..them squares with the smily faces on them, what were they called? Milky way was my favourite!!
  15. I've gone from feeling happy to feeling down, happens quite a bit. Doesn't help that mum is tied up with doing something for work, so can't really talk to her. The weather doesn't look brilliant for this week, could be in for some thunder, which I'm not keen on....and its just sinking in that I don't have to go to school ever again, I should be feeling happy, not feeling like this! Time like this I could really do with a friend to talk things over with.
  16. Two of the main interests I have are music and tracking storms i.e tornadoes in America. I love discovering new artists and will listen to pretty much anything, some of the ones I have come across are, Aynsley Lister, Tyler James (He was on The Voice this year. I discovered him before the program was aired) Lady Antebellum, The Gabe Dixon Band...oh..I can't remember anymore, got a brain like a sieve. Be happy to hear any suggestions.
  17. One thing with the drumming side of things is that we both share the interest and I would say that's helped a bit. My mum thinks that he feels guilty and possibly ashamed...but he would never admit it.
  18. Thank you both for replying.. my relationship with him is getting better but he does have his moments (he is man though) I think he thinks it's just something that I'll grow out of, we've tried and tried over the years to explain to him but it just doesn't seem to go in. Glad I came on here to. Every so often I need to clear things off my chest...I think mum was running out of things to say to me!
  19. Just going to go on a quick rant... (I Apologies now) When I was four, my dad left my mum for someone else, it effected my sisters and brother badly but because I was only four I didn't understand what was going on. I saw him every other Saturday and that was about it. This last year or so I have started seeing him more often...as well as my..delightful step mum. Lets just say, he's not the most understanding person in the world, also quite selfish and while I'm at it a bit of a twit. If I'm having a panic attack he just tells me to get over it and stop being so silly; not the most helpful things to say while I'm struggerling to breathe. ..Arhh...this is quite hard to type, I've got it all in my head but can't seem to write it out. Sometimes I find it helpful to go on a rant about him and his wife...its harder than I thought..writing it down now...I have so much on my chest and in my head that I want to say. I want to talk to someone who isn't a family member for a change or have to pay £60 to talk to someone for an hour. This is when I could really do with a friend. Rant over...for now! Sorry once again. Lizzy.
  20. Playing the drums quietly is one of the hardest things to do. We played a gig a couple of weeks ago in a small room, they wanted us to play quietly....I couldn't! My dad is a drummer and he never plays quietly!
  21. ...I use to have an obsession with stairs (Don't ask me why) I like watching passenger airplanes land and take off but wouldn't say it was an obsession.
