I am sorry to hear your sad news my thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Anybody is entitled I believe to ask for a social worker and the authorities have a duty to asses your individual needs. They don't always agree but you have a right to that assessment have you spoken to your doctor about this.

I understand that I've been dealing with autism for 49 years, my experience is that you can go for long periods of time feeling this way and then you have better times. The Autistic traits and difficultys dont change for some reason they fluctuate maybe it's outside influences but there are good times although it's hard to see that sometimes especially when in a particularly bad time. Are you getting any support ?
