Hi all I know this topics probably been discussed many times.How do i get my son to go to bed> now if he was younger there would be some simpler solution but he is 26 next week.He will go to his room when we go up but he will not get into bed and we can sometimes still hear him talking to himself role playing his xbox games at 3 am. He can be up at 9am he ll sometimes have ten minutes nap about dinner time but he is so angry and mardy and im sure its because he doesnt go to bed early enough and gets up to early.When i suggested he gets in bed when he goes up or at least earlier he says he s not tired and sleep is a waste of time.Anyone have a similar sort of problem

Hi All Its something that id not even thought about up untill recently.Kieran is As and 25 and can be an handfull. A couple of times over the last few months people have said to me had i thought what would happen to him if anything happened to both me and his dad. We have three other sons two elder and 1 younger and have who have all said in the past if we werent here they wouldnt take care of him because he can be a lot to handle.Ive know idea how id even begin to put a plan into place for him or even where to look.Has anyone else looked into this or even put it into provision for the son or daughter something you dont like thinking about but i seriously should consider having something in place as i dont even know if my husband would manage him on his own and i hate to think he wasnt be looked after as he should be. lynn

Hi i know theres going to be no easy answer to this one my son who is asd and 24 lives and dies for his xbox and games.He s got this Dragonball Z game and he struggles with it then he gets really angry and frustrted with it and then he takes his trmper out on anyone who is i range which he nevere used to do but the last couple of times its been his dad and when he punches he rally hurts we ve told him to turn it off if thats the case but that only makes him more angrier we ve even taken the xbox away but major meltdown im seriously begonning to think maybe he needs to be on something as is anger gets worse and worse and id just add its not always games that set him off either simple things like someone disagreeing with him.we re about pulling our hair out we ve been coping pretty well with him up untill these last few weeks any suggestions please i dont know what the answer is lynn

All this snow is giving us all earache....kieran has done nothing but complain about it for the last few days not that he has to go out in it or has anywhere to go but the fact that most of the football matches have been cancelled not like this is a catastrophe but it is to him yes go on about it once but not constantky for two days and im sure he ll be going on about it again today and today and today constantly bless him

that sounds like my house but without the cow pats looks more like loft insulation so you will know what i mean when i say cold and draughty and kieran will only wear a t shirt all weathers doesnt do jumpers but sitting in front of my ELECTRIC FIRE! all day and everyday isnt doing my electric meter any good nor my purse lol.Ive told him to put a jumper on and he just says how sad is that i think my fire is going to have a total power failure im going to remove the fuse it doesnt bother him if i told him it was broke and once he s tried it he s fine its cheaper and warmer in the long run to have the central heating on heating the whole house rather than just one room

Agh no kierans DLA forms landed in the post box this morning do they send them that early because it takes you all that time to fill them in they couldnt have come at a worse time i have just been given a new position at work and have loads of course type work stuff to do so im going to have to juggle them both i think i ll write the dla out on paper first then transfer it in case i make any mistakes and i will photo copy it this time i forgot last time i wonder does anyone compare your answers from last time they must somewhere along the line.

Unfortunately CGI is the thing of tomorrow got to keepup with progress obviously with kieran being older he is used to the old thomas the tank engine episodes and the thing he complians about most is the stupid singing and the stupid little activitys but ive tried to tell him that they have made it more learning that way but he s not impressed i hasten to add it doesnt stop him watching it in fact he has preorderd the new one due out with pierce brosnan narrating and anyone who thought thomas was for kids never! kieran is 22 and he loves it he s got all the dvds and books

Kieran cant tie his shoes laces and when he was younger he always had velcro trainers and velcro fastening shoes when he was at school untill his feet got bigger and they are more difficult to get in large sizes ,he has tie ups now but i am the only person he says can tie them right.

Kieran is 22 and he will not have a wash bath or shower unless he wants to which is not very often he thinks because he s not going anywhere he doesnt have to only when he s going out which is very rare but on the occasion i persuade him i have to wash his her for him and get all the shower gel towels and deodorant ready then i leave him to it.He doesnt mind that he smells we tell him and tell him and he ll just say "so"

I would have to wish the same as pearl i think becuase thats the thing i think he d most benefit from .

Befor i decorated my living room i found my calendar came in handy to cover up the hole he had punched in the wall,and his posters to cover holes in tboth the wall and bedroom door

Kieran still does it now and he s 22 but he isnt has persistant as he used to be, but he will subject us to his non stop xbox360 playing everyday and we have a nightly game of bomberman and if im on the computer he keeps coming through saying bomberman and he ll walk off and 5 mins later he ll say bomber man im not strong willed i surrender quietly lol.weve just realised something his gaming now dh likes football the same as kieran and hes got every football game out and he very rarely plays the football games unless dh is at home my eldest only picked up on that last week he s at work today and we havent had a peep out of fifa 60 million.

Kieran is terribly argumentative and you cannot win an argument with him.If they are arguining usually about games of some sort my ds s have evn shown them articles wrote down in the magazine or on the internet and he ll just say well they are wrong.He can carry an argument right through the night with him, he ll get up and say as i said yesterday blah blah blah......ok then and when we dont bite and carry on arguing he may let it go sometimes he still goes on and its this poin that i wish i could remove the batteries lol

Dh took Ps3 back to the shop today and thankfully there was no problem replacing it as when ds bought it in january apparently the shop must have had a dodgy batch theyve had loads returned faulty bought around the same time so problem solved thank goodness

Thanks baddad i ll give that a try if not its back to the shop i think as its still under warranty.He doesnt have much luck with consoles bless him his xbox 360 got three lights of death last week and it cost him �55 to get it mended. With that though he over plays it and then it gets over heated, but i saw a guy on you tube that mended his own by putting it in the oven and it did work but he didnt know how long for apparently the solder melts on the mother board,and ive since found out you can get kits to mend it yourself of ebay for �6.00 it says not to pay a repairer �50 to �70 to mend them lol a bit late now but i may incvest in one for him.
