  1. Hi Wac,

When my daughter's skin rash appears I always take pictures of it so I can show the doctors because

    a) she won't let anyone examine her and

    B) you can bet your bottom dollar her skin will be like porcelain on the day of her appointment !

Also have your pictures developed in different stores otherwise the assistants think you've got some strange obssession with spotty body parts !!

  2. Hi Kirstie,

This news has put a great big smile on my face even though my fake tan application has gone terribly wrong and I've got a wedding to go to ! Just reminded me what things are important and what aren't ( like me looking various different shades of brown !! )

  3. Thanks Baddad,

Thanks for that. I'm still trying to obtain a urine sample from Junior for doctor who wants to check if she has an underlying UTI as she has had 4 sets of high fever/vomiting/shaky leg episodes over last 6 weeks which seem to come out of nowhere. However she can go up to 5 hours without having a wee ( is this usual ? ) and I've never caught her in the act yet.

There's just something not right that I can't put my finger on - her behaviour over the last 2 weeks has been borderline manic - much worse than usual with the smallest thing triggering off a complete breakdown.

Have her 6 month appt with paed next month so will try and discuss urinary testing with her.

    Onwards and upwards !

  4. Hi All,

Has anyone had a urine test done at Sunderland for reaction casein and gluten and the results come back negative ?

I'm just wondering if everyone has some kind of intolerance and would the smallest reactions come up in a urinary sample ?

Thinking of going down this route myself as the doctor isn't very supportive.

    Would appreciate any advice.

    Cheers !

  5. Hi Helen,

I know it's not good for the skin in the long run but has he tried either sunbathing or a short course of sunbed treatment to dry the skin out a bit ? the doctor can refer him for treatment in a very high powered type sun 'cabin' - it's all precisely measured depending on the condition of the skin.

Has he ever tried a zinc supplement - that can sometimes improve problem skin.
