PinkSapphire Report post Posted June 6, 2007 L is having his end of Year 7 exams all this week and is so all over the place bless him, even more disorganised than ever lol. One good thing is it means he finishes school half an hour early all week (2.50pm instead of 3.20, so won't be happy next week when its back to normal time again) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
di30 Report post Posted June 6, 2007 Hi PinkSapphire, Yes I know what you mean, Daniel is also in yr 7 and is very stressed out due to this and doesn't know where to start. As he is also under IEP's and attends booster lessons, he feels he will not cope with the pressures from the exams, we are due to attend a meeting with the Education psychologist Senco and the Lea tomorrow but this was to originally arrange a mentor for when he needs further help and support again. Daniel suffers with high levels of anxiety too, and is due for his official diagnosis for Aspergers syndrome which will hopefully be this month. We do also have an 18 year old son who is sitting for his A levels exams this month, so this has helped a little bit, due to the revision side of things as his older brother have been trying to guide him too, like showing him the ropes of how to revise, Daniel has tried but it doesn't tend to last long. But at least this will give him an idea. Daniel cannot stand the fact of sitting in a large hall with loads of others, he fears this. We will mention this at the meeting tomorrow, to see if they can resolve this in another way, like nearby a door or so. Good luck to your son too, hope all goes well for him.
