BusyLizzie100 Report post Posted August 13, 2007 We are appealing about DS2's Statement and it's likely we'll end up at tribunal. His recently amended Statement has totally written out all of his sensory perceptual needs - they're just being brushed under the carpet - and we may well need to find an independent witness, such as an occupational therapist or some other ASD specialist, to assess him. The NHS OT has been largely ignored. Has anyone any idea of how to find someone suitable? Please PM if you have any specific details, otherwise just an idea of where to look would be helpful. We also need to find an independent educational psychologist who understands ASD. Lizzie
