loobylou2 Report post Posted June 30, 2008 Thanks everyone! It was the longest ride I've ever done in one go! Our RDA group is closing after 25 years and a new one has opened in the area, so I started off at Mum's where our group was based and cycled over to the new one to help raise some funds for them. The first 8 miles was nearly all uphill! Had one scary moment when iwas going at about 30 mph down hill and got a puncture in a back tyre! Thought I was a goner for a bit but managed to stop without falling off! Luckily my Hubby was following in the car and we managed to fix it and carry on.
